Woman killed in N1 pile-up
A woman has been killed in a crash involving three vehicles on the N1 north near the Beyers Naude offramp, north of Johannesburg.
The crash took place on Friday afternoon.
One driver was taken to hospital in a critical condition, while another driver only picked up minor injuries.

Johannesburg metro police spokesperson Wayne Minnaar says the crash had a severe impact on traffic in the area.
"Three vehicles have collided. One female driver - of a red Etios has died, one male driver is in critical condition and had to be taken to hospital and another female driver is slightly injured.
"There are officers at the accident scene who are assisting traffic to pass the scene.”
