The woman linked to the fire at a hijacked building in the Johannesburg CBD is set to appear in the city’s magistrates court on Tuesday.
She is facing charges of arson, murder and attempted murder.
It’s alleged the 30-year-old woman burnt one of the rooms in the dilapidated, densely populated 44 Nugget Street building on Sunday - following a heated argument with her boyfriend.
Two people died, and four others were taken to the hospital after sustaining injuries from the fire.
The blaze also left scores of others homeless.
