Woman shot execution-style in Midrand

Gauteng police are investigating the death of a woman who was shot execution-style in Midrand.
Police say the 38-year-old motorist, who was seated in her car on Wednesday morning, was approached by an unknown number of suspects.
The suspects then went on to fire several shots, fatally wounding the woman.
Police spokesperson Dimakatso Sello says the motive for the shooting is unknown.
"On arrival at the scene, a blue Hyundai i20 was found on the side of the road against a palisade fence. A woman was behind the steering wheel with gunshot wounds on her upper body. She was certified dead on the scene by the paramedics."
No arrests have been made.
