Yes, it is unseasonably warm for this time of the year
The SA Weather Service has confirmed that parts of the
country is baking in higher than usual winter temperatures.
"We are seeing these conditions as a result of a fairly high-pressure system that persisted over the country for the past week and that allowed to the temperatures to gradually warm up through the week," says Sa Weather forecaster Edward Engelbrecht.
Gauteng, Mpumalanga and Limpopo will enjoy warm weather conditions, but Engelbrecht adds there is a cold front coming.
Cooler weather conditions are expected over the northeastern part of the country due to a cold air moving in.
Engelbrecht, says the cold winds will cause the more relaxed conditions from the cold front as they reach Gauteng, Mpumalanga and Limpopo.
