Young boy stabbed multiple times in Witpoortjie
A 13 year-old boy was in a critical condition after he was stabbed multiple time in Witpoortjie on Wednesday morning.
According to ER24, the boy was stabbed multiple times in the back while walking along Gerrit Maritz Road in Witpoortjie, west of Johannesburg.
"The boy was found lying face down in the middle of the road. He was surrounded by numerous members of the public," ER24 said in a statement.
ER24 said paramedics assessed the boy and found him in a critical condition with multiple stab wounds on his back.
"Paramedics immediately began their treatment, providing the boy with advanced life support interventions."
Local authorities were on scene to investigate further.
