A 20-year-old man is expected to appear in the Bushbuckridge
Magistrates' Court on Thursday on a charge of murder.
This comes after police discovered the body of a man next to the R40 outside Bushbuckridge on Sunday.
Mpumalanga Police spokesperson, Leonard Hlathi, says the body was identified as that of a member of the South African National Defence Force (SANDF), stationed in Limpopo.
"We investigated this issue. The trace of the investigation led us to the house of this man," says Hlathi.
He adds police found items allegedly used by the deceased's wife and son to murder him.
The two suspects were arrested on the scene.
The wife and mother of the young suspect, appeared in court on Wednesday.
It is expected that the case against the 20-year old son will be postponed to the 28th of November, when he is expected to appear alongside his mother.
