Danny K, wife expecting
South African singer and songwriter Danny K is expecting his first child with wife Lisa. The artist confirmed the news on his Facebook page yesterday.
The singer, whose real name is Danny Koppel married Lisa Gundelfinger in 2012 at the Lourensford Wine Estate in Somerset West.
Gundelfinger said, “Our baby is the first grandchild of both our parents, so you can imagine the level of excitement in our family at the moment.
“Danny’s grandmother is 93 and cannot wait to be a great-gran,” she added.
According to the couple the baby is due to arrive in July.
“It was terrible not being able to share our happiness with the whole world earlier,” said Gundelfinger, who aside from being married to the singer is also an advocate and a swimsuit model.
“We decided to wait until I was three months before telling friends,” she said.
Danny K launched his latest album Good Look on 25 October.
