Formula One makes its way to the home of Ferrari for the first sprint race of 2022 and a crucial one for the team.

With Charles Leclerc sitting 34 points ahead of George Russell, this race will give him the opportunity to extend his lead and give Ferrari the extra points that they need for the championship.

Of course, he doesn’t go unchallenged with Red Bull saying they have fixed their “fuel system” problems and are ready for this weekend’s race.

However, Track This panelist and racing driver Tasmin Pepper says: “Max has already had two DNF’s, he’s not looking good in the long run, now the only way he can still fight for the championship lead is if Leclerc starts having the same issues on his side. Right now, I don’t think that’s a possibility.”

But where does that leave Mercedes? Lewis Hamilton was called a “time bomb” this last week as the team still hasn’t announced any upgrades to the car.

Fellow panelist and racing driver Tschops Sipuka says he doesn’t think it’s ideal to talk about it. “I think they should just keep it hush in case the upgrades put them back.”
