Wayde van Niekerk gets a new sports car
South Africa's 400 meter Olympic gold medallist Wayde van Niekerk received an Audi R8 V10 on his arrival back home from the Rio Olympics.
Supporters gathered at the OR Tambo International Airport where Van Niekerk and 100 meter Olympic finalist and national champion Akani Simbine touched down after competing at the Paris Diamond League meeting in France shortly after the Olympics.
Simbine and Van Niekerk's coach arrived with the gold medallist.
