Michael Phelps races against a great white shark!
It was a nail-biting race, but who came out tops in the end?
The shark, of course!
We all know that the 23-time Olympic gold medalist Michael Phelps is fast, but he wasn't fast enough.
The animal and the swimmer competed against each other in a Discovery Channel special aptly named 'Phelps vs. Shark'. Although, the shark did only beat Phelps by just two seconds.
If you thought Phelps would actually be in the water with the shark, then you thought wrong. He was swimming against the time of the shark, which has been digitally superimposed next to him on screen.

But, did people really think he would actually be in the water with a shark? Crazy!
