Back in September 2022, it was announced that singer, actor, and businesswoman, Rihanna, would be headlining the Super Bowl Halftime Show in February 2023.

On Friday, the 'Work' singer released the first official trailer for her performance.

While fans have been waiting anxiously for the singer's return to the stage and a new album, many can't help but think that this trailer might also hint at a new album.

The trailer starts with different voices, presumably from the media, saying: “It’s been 2,190 days… It’s been over six years… Rihanna is who everybody is waiting for… The last album we got from Rihanna was ‘Anti’ in 2016."

It continues with Rihanna walking toward the camera and posing, wearing a fluffy green jacket with her hair in a high braid.

Finally, when the voices stop, the camera cuts to black, and the singer is seen putting a “Shh” finger to her lips, clearly sending a message to the media and her fans. This is followed by a brief snippet of her song, 'Needed Me', from that last album, 'Anti'.

Rihanna's Super Bowl Halftime Show will be the singer's return to the stage for the first time in four years. Her last performance was at the Grammy Awards in 2018.
