Day 5

It feels like just yesterday that the team arrived in paradise, but today marks their final day in Mauritius... or does it?

While the team might have still been taking things easy, the Mauritian weather has had other plans.

It's been raining cats and dogs, although this has not put a damper on Rob and Roz's spirits at all.

That being said, there is a likelihood that they will not be making their flight tomorrow and will score an extra day or two on the island.

Take a listen to hear what they have to say about the situation:

Day 4

With less than 72 hours left on their favourite island, the team decided to split up and experience as much of the Mauritius way of life as they possibly can.

On Sunday, they went snorkeling and Rob was hooked (no fishy pun intended). Today he decided to go back and take another dip with his wet friends.

Roz had other plans as she decided to head out to some of the local markets to experience a real authentic island vibe.

Take a listen below to find out how their adventures went:

Day 3

In the famous words of Jon Bon Jovi: "Oh we're halfway there!"

While Rob and Roz might still be thriving in Mauritius, they have now come to the sad realisation that their lekker trip will soon be coming to an end.

The rest of the week is still jam-packed with adventures and activities, but for today the team decided to take things easy.

Here's a little #FunFact: While speaking to a staff member at the spa, Roz learned that when it rains, as it has been for the last few days, the kids don't have to go to school. Could be something we South Africans might want to adopt...

In other news, Roz started her morning with a delicious breakfast before heading for a pamper session which featured a hammam (which is a type of steam bath) and a Polynesian massage, which she described as "absolutely life-changing".

While she was dipping from one pool into another, Rob also decided to take it easy with an ocean swim before heading for an Indian ayurvedic massage and a moment alone in the steam room.

Day 2

Rob and Roz might have taken things slow for their first few days in Mauritius, but today it was time to kick things up a notch. Or a few notches, actually.
