Mother accused of not teaching her daughter manners after family dinner

The poor teenager got caught up in some family drama...

No matter how much you love your siblings, there will always be room for some light fighting, quibbling and rivalry.

Unfortunately, things aren't always sunshine and roses.

In a recent post on a popular Reddit thread, a mother asked for some advice.

The anonymous user explained that she had been to visit her sister, where she and her daughter joined her family for dinner.

According to her, things turned sour after her daughter asked if she could have another plate of food.

Her daughter seemingly insulted the aunt and the mother was reprimanded for their behaviour.

She was caught completely off guard and asked Reddit users whether or not she was in the wrong.

Some people in the comments asked the obvious question if there was enough food left and if everyone had already had a second portion.
