While the win was another enjoyable highlight for many, including full-back Damian Willemse, this game also meant so much more to some.

In an Instagram post after the win, Willemse thanked the fans for their support and dedicated the Boks' victory to a close friend, Benje Momberg.

Momberg was recently shot during a robbery and was left paralysed after the incident.

Together, Damian and Benje attended Paul Roos Gymnasium in Stellenbosch and played for the school's first team.
