Good news for the black eagle couple, Mahlori and Makatsa!

Mom and dad Black Eagle finally welcomed their first little baby of the season.

The egg was laid on the 19th of April and nature fans and other curious onlookers were able to tune in to a live stream of the parents looking after their egg until the baby decided to join the world.
The Black Eagle Project Roodekrans (BEPR) Monitors in Walter Sisulu Botanical Garden have been eagerly waiting to see the first egg ever since the eagle couple started prepping their nest.
