Mmasea can't believe that these are the 5 most in-demand jobs in South Africa

Matriculants and parents alike need to pay attention because these are the five jobs most in-demand in South Africa - and the list may very well surprise you.
A top South African job advertising search engine has announced the country's "rarest skills" which in turn make up for the most in-demand jobs on the market.
The 2017 report found that rare skills are still very much in demand and roughly 70% of those skills fall within the technical and development industries. Other industries that are targeting rare skills include the consultancy, managerial and financial fields.
While the report and data analysed focused on onlinejob advertisements, the observations were enough to draw "conclusive inference" that technical skills are still among the most sought after skills in the job market.
"The demand for a skill is the number of jobs posted for it by companies. The supply of a skill is the number of job seeker searches made for it", says Jesse Green from Adzuna, SA.
The list includes:
- Java Developer: rareness factor 128.8 to 1 with an average salary of R 513,000
- Developer: rareness factor 66.5 to 1 with an average salary of R 467,000
- PHP Developer: rareness factor 64.3 to 1 with an average salary of R 410,000
- Web Developer: rareness factor 53.1 to 1 with an average salary of R 395,000
- Financial Accountant: rareness factor 51.8 to 1 with an average salary of R 471,000
You might have a tough time while studying towards one of these professions, but you never know, Google might come knocking...
