Could your taste in food lead you to your soulmate?

A way to a man's heart is through the stomach, or is it a way to a woman's heart? A recent study suggests that both men and women can find a way to each others hearts through the stomach.
The study was done on 1,200 people and found that 80% of people said they were more attracted to people who share similar tastes with them, with 33% saying they found it a turn-off when a date ordered food they did not like.
Twenty percent reportedly ordered food to impress a partner.
The study was done as part of Knorr’s latest campaign which is called Love at First Taste.
"Having studied the behavioural patterns behind food consumption for over 30 years, this research by Knorr validates something I have long suspected; that food and flavours are a window to our character, and our flavour preferences offer a vital insight into our personality," Greg Tucker, flavour expert and psychologist reportedly said.
"So it is no wonder that when pairing up, we seek soul-mates who are also eat-mates, who like the same food and flavours that we do,” Turker added.
Another interesting thing the study found was that some people preferred tasting food over sex.
The study found that 48% of people would rather give up sex in exchange for being able to taste food, while 70% would give up the right to vote and 75% would give up social media.
