Joost is now on Oxygen

Rugby Legend, Joost van der Westhuizen, who has battled motor neuron disease since May 2011, is now dependent on oxygen for survival.
It seems the former Springbok hero has been reliant on oxygen for a while, but they decided to keep the news quiet for the sake of his children, Jordan (12) and Kylie (10), whom he had with singer and presenter Amor Vittone

Fans, friends and colleagues have taken to Facebook to share their heartfelt thoughts and prayers for the family since the news broke.
On Thursday night singer Arno Jordaan tweeted: “Think of the fighter and his family tonight.
