A South African woman claims to have given birth to ten children but doctors have yet to confirm the news in what would be the world's largest-ever live birth.

The woman named Gosiame Thamara Sithole, 37, is already a mother of twins. With this recent birth, she gave birth to seven boys and three girls by Caesarean section at a hospital in Pretoria late Monday, according to reports.

According to reports by IOL, Tebogo Tsotetsi - who is currently unemployed - told journalists of the birth of the decuplets late on Monday night, saying he is 'happy' and 'emotional'. Sithole claims that no fertility treatments were involved and it was a natural conception.

A Malian woman named Halima Cisse recently gave birth to nine children at a hospital in Morocco, in another case thought to have been caused by fertility treatment but turned out to be natural.

South Africans wasted no time sharing their thoughts about this.
