WATCH: Airplane breaks in half during landing

A video of a plane breaking in half as it lands has been going viral because people think incidents like this should not be happening.

The incident took place at the Juan Santamaria International Airport in Costa Rica and forced the airport to shut down for several hours.

In the video, you can see the plane come in for landing, but when it touches down, the brakes seem to fail, making the plane swing to the right and break in half.

The aircraft reportedly suffered a hydraulic failure on the way to Guatemala and forced the pilot to turn back and make an emergency landing.
