WATCH: SA military pilots risk their lives to save cyclone survivors
Updated | By Mack Rapapali Nights
The South African military is in Mozambique assisting the cyclone Idai survivors.
In a video clip shared on Facebook by Bob Scott, executive director of Compassionate Justice International, the survivors can be heard calling out for help.
The helicopter can also be seen hovering dangerously close to the water, even having its wheels submerged in the water. The overloaded bus was stationed in between powerlines, but the pilot skillfully managed to get close enough to survivors to help them get onto the aircraft.
