Gert-Johan Coetzee talks style and sass on The Scenic Drive

Designer to the stars Gert-Johan Coetzee knows exactly how to bring out the most fabulous side of all the clients he dresses. He reveals some of that mystique on The Scenic Drive with Rian.

Gert-Johan Coetzee has made a name for himself as the go-to designer for South Africa's socialites. If your star is on the rise, chances are Gert-Johan is right there beside you.

His passion for style and the hard work he puts into tailoring each of his trademark garments have earned him quite a reputation in the fashion industry locally as well as abroad.

Gert-Johan recently announced that he would be joining Project Runway South Africa as a mentor.

Brands and personalities scramble to associate themselves with the creative genius. Evidence of this is in Gert-Johan's collaboration with McDonald's South Africa. The brand is celebrating 50 years of the Big Mac. Gert-Johan's branded merchandise is the first to be officially recognised by the global fast food giant.

Interesting fact about the Gert-johan Coetzee @mcdonalds_za range: 1.This is the only collection with the iconic golden arch that is approved by Mcdonalds. 2.The other well known range by Moschino in 2014 was Mcdonalds inspired, but not approved, Only a representation of the golden arch was used. 3. All the profits of this range will go to the Ronald McDonald house charity. 4. This will be the first Gert range to have items available for men.
