Hunter receives death threats after posing with grizzly bear

Tim Brent has been on the receiving end of threats and outrage after posing with a grizzly bear that he shot in Canada.

Not everyone believes in shooting animals for sport, and even in cases where hunters claim to be acting in the interest of conservation, the display of the dead bodies of animals is not met with much approval.
Yet Tim Brent, a former professional ice hockey player from Canada, saw fit to brag about his latest conquest in Canada's Yukon Territory.

Tim was elated, saying he was "fortunate enough" to shoot a moose and a grizzly bear while he was out hunting. He described stalking the bear as "awesome" and smiled widely next to its splayed body, clearly proud of what he had done.
Soon his post caught the attention of people who eschew hunting and the criticism and threats started to come in.

Tim has not done anything illegal, but his actions have sparked outrage with more conservative animal lovers.
