Our lives have been turned upside down by the coronavirus pandemic taking the lives of friends, colleagues, and loved ones.

On Tuesday, radio presenter and SAMA nominated producer Joe Mann informed the Scenic Drive team that his friend sadly passed away due to COVID-19 in ICU.

"Sh*t just got real. My friend passed away in ICU."

On Saturday, Joe Mann said that his friend mentioned that he has bad flu and that it is painful.

According to Joe Mann, his friend was unable to walk to the kitchen - and if he did - he had to rest for about 10 minutes just to catch his breath.

"Gents, we need to take this sh*t serious now, even the masks you wear makes a big difference, I went to get checked today cos I’ve had the flu, but it’s some super flu that gets worse and worse..."

This is part of the message his friend sent to them over the weekend.

"He is a friend whose passion and love for the entertainment industry and family was really inspiring. A genuinely good guy who shone a light on the lives he touched," Joe Mann.

The Scenic Drive family would like to pay our respects to him, his pregnant wife, his family, and friends.
