In his new memoir, legendary actor Dr Jerry Mofokeng opens up about his son being a drug addict and finding out who his real father was at the age of 58.

Dr Jerry Mofokeng wa Makhetha is a South African legend who has played roles in 'Mama Jack', 'Fanie Fourie Labola', and 'Four Corners'.

His role in 'Tsotsi' made him a household name worldwide after the film was an Oscar winner at the 2005 awards. 

For years, he has made us laugh and cry, but inside himself, he felt like an outsider in his own family.

At the age of 58, he discovered who his real father is. 

Suddenly his search for identity makes sense.

In the new memoir, Dr Mofokeng gives us a glimpse into his family life; his love for his wife and kids, as well as tracing the highlights and disappointments in his career. 

Along the way, he learns some very important lessons on manhood. This is a memoir, but also a challenge to South African men to live out their masculinity in a responsible way.
