Make My Monday: 'I want to treat my husband'

We received a message from Penny van Aswegen who says she wants to treat her husband, André for always being there and for basically running their household.

HERE IS HER MESSAGE: "Hi Rian. My husband André and I have two big boys 22 and 19 that we adore and have been blessed with a baby boy that is not our biological son but has been put in our care. He has a sleep apnoea and stops breathing at night while he sleeps. My husband was retrenched and is struggling to find a work. My husband looks after the baby, he cleans the house, does the washing and sometimes cooks. He also cleans the yard and never complains while I work. I would please like to take him out for supper. He loves seafood and I want to say thank you for everything he does at home and how I appreciate him and him lots. I could not have asked for a better husband. We can't afford to eat out at all and I just want him to relax and as a family to enjoy an evening out. Thank you so much. Kind regards, Penny."

John Dory’s at Jean Crossing created a once off special platter for Andre, and it’s called the Andre Lover’s Platter. Andre, his wife, Penny and their children will be treated to the Andre Lover’s platters as well as for drinks to the value of well over R1000.

ANDRÉ LOVER'S PLATTER CONSISTS OF: 

Hake fillets, calamari, prawns and mussels served in a white wine, garlic and herb sauce. This platter will have an emphasis on prawns as it is André’s favourite.
