Rian van Heerden weighs in on the ending of 'Game of Thrones'

Game of Thrones wrapped up its final season on Monday morning - but it seems that not many people are too happy with the ending.

The episode, entitled "The Iron Throne," left many fans with many questions. There were the usual death and bloodletting but, perhaps unsurprisingly, a lot more talking than in some of the more action-driven episodes.

One principal character had the confidence to invent democracy and was quickly shouted down, while another came up with colonialism, and was seen sailing into the sunset. 

According to Rian van Heerden, the episode was a mess. 

"I felt cheated - and the ending was rushed," he said.
