Tractor thief no match for Florida policeman's taser
Updated | By The Scenic Drive with Rian
A Sheriff's Deputy in Florida used only a taser to bring down a tractor thief who tried to flee.
No one runs faster than a thief who is about to be caught out.
When a Sheriff's Deputy in the Florida Panhandle instructed a man who was driving a tractor erratically to pull over on the side of the road, he could not have known that he would soon have to use his taser to restrain the man.
The suspect, identified as Nicholas McNeil, had been swerving on the road, and that is what alerted the officer that something was wrong.
When Nicholas got out of the vehicle, the Deputy discovered that his driver's license was invalid. That was the beginning of Nicholas's problems.
Upon searching the vehicle, the Deputy discovered a knife and pills in Nicholas's possession. When Nicholas realised he would be arrested, he began to scuffle with the Deputy. That was a mistake.
As Nicholas began to run away, the Deputy discharged a taser. Watching Nicholas fall to the ground is as tragic as it is funny.
Emergency Medical Services soon arrived on the scene to treat Nicholas, after which he appeared to be in a very co-operative mood.
