Some professionals like lawyers and psychologists can tell when someone is lying. But how do you know when someone is lying to you?

American lawyer, Michael Mandell, shared a video on TikTok and explained when you can know when someone is lying.

In the TikTok video, he says when you are suspicious of someone's story, you should ask them to tell it again.

"People who tell the truth will add facts and remember more details when they retell the story. Liars have usually memorized their story and will keep the same."

Another trick is to ask them to tell the story backwards.

"They will have to think hard and the more they try, the easier it will be to know the lie."
