Lascurain moved from Johannesburg to Spain after his husband got a job opportunity.

Lascurain shared his experiences of the effects of Covid-19 during the lockdown.

"It's a complete lockdown, we must stay indoors.

"You have about 10 minutes to shop. You can't bulk buy.

"The military police and other services are working on this. You have to walk with all your documents all the time -they monitor every move.

"People are dying. The hospitals can't accommodate everyone. It's crazy."

"This is bad but every night we clap and sing for every worker, every medical worker and just for everyone in general. We are in this together," Lerouw Lascurain.
