Bizarre moment cruise ship almost destroys couple's beach home
Updated | By Lee-Roy Wright
Now this is what you call too close for comfort. Waving hands, screaming and panic as a large cruise ship approached a waterfront home - way too close!
A couple got the biggest fright of their life when a large cruise liner headed straight for their $2.3 million Port Everglades home.
The wife filmed the whole ordeal as her husband quickly ran and waved at the 122,000-ton ship.
In the video, you can hear the desperation in the woman's voice when she shouts "get out! Get out! Too close!"
The 1,041-foot, 2,850-person ship had been heading out for a 10-night Caribbean cruise, exploring the Barbados, St Kitts & St Nevis and other sun-kissed islands, when the terrible incident occurred.
With a large ship 100-foot away from you, would you have reacted the same?
