Rian weighs in on women and child abuse
Rian went on a different, more heartfelt rant on Tuesday
morning.
Pre-sentencing proceedings in the case against Sarel du Toit began on Tuesday after du Toit, on Monday, pleaded guilty to the rape and murder of his 4-year-old niece Jasmin Pretorius. Jasmin was attacked in her home on 27 December 2013, and after a frantic search by the community, her uncle admitted that he was responsible for the crime. Jasmin’s body was later found under du Toit’s mattress.
After learning of the pre-sentencing during The Complimentary Breakfast on Tuesday, Rian shared his views on women and child abuse, while highlighting why events like the 1st for Women Sisters with Blisters protest walk are so important in raising awareness.
