BBC presenter and zoologist Mark Carwardine was in one the most popular blue whale hotspots in the Pacific Ocean and yet couldn’t find any whales. Or so he thought.
BBC presenter and zoologist Mark Carwardine as quite disappointed that he had not seen any whales in one of the most popular blue whale hotspots.
But what he didn't expect was as soon as he explained to viewers that they likely wouldn’t see any whales that day, a spout shot up.
The camera then pans to show the very thing they thought they wouldn’t see — a giant, majestic blue whale.
“Oh look,” he sheepishly giggles. “There is one!”
