Zoo visitors watch in horror as live donkey is fed to tigers

Social media has been outraged by a video doing the rounds which was shot at the Yancheng Wild Animal World in Changzhou, China. The video shows tigers in their enclosure being fed a live donkey as onlookers watch in horror.
The donkey is seen being pushed out of a truck into a moat in the tigers' enclosure, where it is quickly set upon by the big cats.

According to local reports, an official from the zoo said a shareholder involved in a dispute with the zoo was responsible for the incident.
Even if that is the case, this is a severe case of animal cruelty and should never have happened.
