University of Pretoria student graduates at 19
Updated | By Carla Mackenzie
Quintine Mkhondo is an exceptional young man who has
graduated at the age of 19!
He was born in Soshanguve and became interested in mathematics and problem-solving.
Due to his love he advanced academically, subsequently skipping Grade 5 and 9.
Quintine knew he wanted to study actuarial science from the get go!
He admits he had to grow up at a much faster rate than a normal South African teenager but says: “The only time when you loose is when you give up.”
His family is hosting a big party in Soshanguve, north of Pretoria to celebrate his Actuarial Science and Financial Mathematics degree!
Something definitely worth celebrating.
Well done Quintine!
