KFC launches a sandwich to the edge of the earth!

You can now order KFC in space? Well, kind of...

A KFC burger was launched into the stratosphere on Thursday in a hot air balloon system in the USA.
The journey is expected to last for four days and the balloon is estimated to reach altitudes of between 18,300m and 22,900m.
According to reports, this will be the longest stratospheric balloon flight with a commercial payload in history and it will be the first multi-day mission of the World View Stratollite flight system.

For World View, the flight is to test the concept of the Stratollite system, which had previously not made a flight for longer than 12 hours.
Taber MacCallum, who’s the CTO of World View, stated in an interview that the company plans to make vehicles that are designed to carry humans to altitudes of about 30,480m high in future.
