Should you be quitting online dating?

Online dating has become one of the most popular ways in which we find matches and possible partners. However, maybe this new way of finding your possible loved one is not all that successful...

According to an article posted by Mashable, online dating could all just be fake and not as pleasing as you think. Maybe one doesn't need to be consumed by pretty profile pictures and average hook-ups.

Why not date the conventional way?

Here are a few reasons as to why you should maybe look at quitting online dating:

1. Not even the ads match with you on Tinder.

Who really cares about Tinder Social?

2. You're relating a little too much with the movie Her.

Maybe it's the lack of human contact but your phone is not your S.O. It's time to put it down.

3. You find yourself swiping left 99 percent of the time.

Nope. Nope. Nope.

4. Your matches never go beyond the online messages.

If you're not going to meet up, there's no point.

5. You're stressing about replies, and taking it personally when they don't.

It's hard to get rejected, but you shouldn't sweat it. Most of the time, it's not about you. It just wasn't meant to be. Just move on to the next person.

6. You can't remember which app you met them on.

At some point, people start becoming a blur. It's time to step back.

7. You keep finding the same people in other dating apps.

Dejá vu isn't always cute.

8. Tinder always shows up in your “Siri app suggestions” when you swipe down.

Siri knows you a little too well.

9. You unlock your phone and open the app without even realizing it.

Dating apps are the new Facebook.

10. You're swiping so much you keep seeing the same profiles over and over.

So now, after reading these reasons, are you still going to be carrying on with your online dating?
