Bride helps ex deal with personal issues during her honeymoon

The bride asked people in the Reddit community if she was an a**hole for doing this and the votes were unanimous.

There are things that you should do as a new bride (or groom) and things you shouldn't during your honeymoon.

And although we know that this week was 'Forgive an Ex Day

', we don't think that helping them through their issues on your honeymoon should be acceptable.

Perhaps you have a good relationship with your ex, and that's all well and good, but helping them through personal issues during your honeymoon is not at all okay.

A bride posted to Reddit to the AITA community (Am I The A-hole) asking them if she was indeed the A-hole for helping her ex with personal issues during her honeymoon.

And, of course, the community who are known for their brutal honesty told her that she was indeed the A-hole.

Further to her question, this is what she gave people to provide them with some context: "I was talking to my ex bf during our honeymoon. He is going through a tough time. My spouse doesn’t feel like I’m making him a priority." (Reddit)

And if you're thinking this was bad, wait until you hear this...

Another user from the community found out that she also posted saying that her spouse was upset with her because she opened all their wedding gifts without him.

Let's just say that people were not happy with her and cancelled her as a good wife.

Some even went as far as to say that she has some unresolved issues with her ex and this needs to be addressed before it causes a problem with her husband.

And if that wasn't enough, we also found out through the comments section that the ex had proposed to her while he knew she was in a relationship with her now husband.

Ag nee, that's just too shady.
