Male Silverback Gorilla gets aggressive with zookeepers
Updated | By Jacaranda FM
If anything, this is why animals shouldn't be enclosed for the purpose of entertainment.
It's one thing to plan a visit to the zoo with the family and a whole other thing to see the true nature of wild animals act out at the zoo.
A surreal experience indeed.
This happened to many families who visited The Fort Worth Zoo in Texas, USA. One of the families managed to capture what happened on video and all we could hear them do is pray.
It seems that the zookeepers were inside the Silverback Gorilla's space and something triggered the Gorilla.
When this happens, we just see the Gorilla run towards one of the zookeepers and throw the container of food.
It is scary, of course, but it is also a look into what wild animals truly are like. They are temperamental and not very open to uniformity.
Luckily, none of the zookeepers were hurt or injured, but it was a clear reminder of how quickly things can go wrong when you are around wild animals.
One thing ran true throughout the video, staying calm, and that's also a good reminder when around wild animals.
