Luckily no one was in the bus at the time of the crash!
In a video that shows some graphic footage, we see a bus stuck on a train track.
The bus passed the boom gate and seemed to have remained on the track, without the driver being able to get it off safely in time.
The train that was travelling through was unable to stop and crashes into the stationary bus.
The crash occurred in the Netherlands about a month ago.
The passenger train was travelling at such a high speed that it split the bus into two pieces.
"Fortunately, the bus was empty, and no injuries were reported among the train’s staff and 85 passengers." (News.com)
MORE FROM JACARANDA FM
"The driver was standing next to the railway waving his arms to warn the approaching train that the bus was stuck at the crossing, Ronald Groffen, who filmed the collision from his car, said. 'The driver got out and tried to warn the train,' he said. 'He's a hero.'" (RTE.IE)
