Friendship goals: Little girl hangs back in race to finish with friend
A young boy with Dwarfism participates in his first sports day race and his friend shows him support in the ultimate way.
Good friends are hard to find. This is why when you find good friends, it is important to take care of them.
A beautiful depiction of friendship was captured and shared on social media that really connected with us.
It brought about a feeling of joy, a feeling of wholesomeness. As a parent, you want this for your kids, this type of friendship, and watching this gave us hope.

A video shows a young boy with Dwarfism participating in his first sports day race.
"Dwarfism is short stature that results from a genetic or medical condition. Dwarfism is generally defined as an adult height of 4 feet 10 inches (147 centimetres) or less. The average adult height among people with dwarfism is 4 feet (122 cm)." (MayoClinic)
This little man showed such courage and good spirit throughout his race and what was the most important part was that he didn't give up.

It completely amazes us how some kids are so intuitive when it comes to knowing what those around them need.
This young girl followed her instinct and slowed down when she could've easily passed him and completed the race. She sacrificed her finishing the competition to show her friend some support.
At one point, she holds his shoulder and if you look closely, you see he pushes her hand away. That was significant to us, because even though she wanted to show him support through touch, he wanted to finish the race without any help.
