Mom embraces her toddler's eagerness to help cook
It won't always go as planned, but letting them help you will be beneficial to everyone in the long run.
Every so often we get caught up in the binds of life and forget what's important.
It is only natural for that to happen, but finding a way to reset and reconnect with what matters is always possible.
A mother reminded us of this recently as she posted a video of her toddler who has been obsessed with helping her cook.
We know that sometimes it is easier to plop them in front of their toys or the TV so that you can get things done faster and more efficiently, but is that the life you want?
Sometimes easier doesn't always translate into fulfilling. A mom, Alexis Diaz, shared a short snippet of her toddler helping her in the kitchen.
The little girl is seen taking what looks like garlic salt and vigorously shaking it into the pot, while mom notices in the background and is shocked.

At first, it is obvious that mom looked like she wanted to just tell her little girl to leave the kitchen, but then she realised that her daughter is not always going to be this age nor will she always want to help her mom.
