When you become a parent, there's this innate part of you that shifts, you become more adaptable and find that your ability not to take things too seriously heightens.
It comes naturally for some, but we admit it can take time for others.
A mother shared a short video displaying the type of change we've had to succumb to as parents. We admire her honesty, sometimes all you want as a parent is to keep them busy.

In the video, the mom shows us how her coffee cup (that still had coffee) became a play toy for her toddler while they were at the beach.
Even though she joked about having kids and how 'fun' it is, sarcasm duly noted, she also admitted that she was happy as long as her kid was busy.
We have to agree, when they are busy, it means their minds are occupied and it gives them a mental break (and you). As much as we love our kids, parenting can be strenuous at times.
