It is these acts of kindness that truly uplift our communities.

Any bit of kindness that is expressed in our country or the world is humbly welcomed with open arms.

Not that we have to explain ourselves, but with all the challenges that people are going through, it is definitely uplifting when we see how people can still lead with kindness.

One wonderfully pleasant example of that was displayed this past Monday, the 16th of October.

A person posted on Facebook that they were driving on the N21 and saw a brown puppy lying on the edge near the Gautrain bridge.

Unfortunately, they were unable to stop and help the dog and asked if anyone passing that area was able to check on the dog.

Two traffic officers were seen climbing the side of the bridge and helping the dog down to safety.

The Pitbull Sanctuary of South Africa are trying to spread their act of kindness online and thank these men for helping this furry friend out.

People might say that this was well within their purview to do, but the truth is nothing these days is expected, so, when someone goes out of their way to help, we are celebrating their kindness.

Thanks to these two men for showing us that everyone, including our fur babies, deserve love and care.
