The radio host is always in the limelight, and even a trip to church gets the star treatment.

You only have to take one look at her Instagram account to see that Bridget knows the ABCs of fashion.

Bridget says she draws inspiration from designers, individuals, and experiences.

“I love Victoria Beckham’s effortless uncluttered style, David Tlale’s extravagance and Valentino’s attention to the smallest details,” she says.

Maxi dresses are a must for summer, but who would have thought that Bridget is still holding on to one from her grade nine social!

“Through the years it evolved to being the dress I wore for all my traditional ceremonies and now it’s the dress that holds memories of yesteryear. And occasionally I try it on just to make sure that I can still squeeze into it,” she laughs.

Diamonds are not only a girl’s best friend, but they complement just about any outfit. So it makes sense that Bridget would invest a lot of money on them.

“The most expensive items would have to be my jewellery. I love diamonds, I ain’t no Liz Taylor but that is my goal.”

As far as fashion disasters go, Bridget believes there is always something to learn from a fashion faux pas.

“I tend to not hold on to bad memories but I am sure I have my fair share of those embarrassing moments. But then again that is how you learn about your personal style, by making mistakes,” she says.

More on Bridget’s closet:

High heels or sneakers?

High heels all day, every day, and twice on a Sunday.

Designer labels or budget friendly?

Designer collectables mixed in with some street style make for a balanced closet. You could be wearing a simple cheap dress and pair it with an awesome handbag and it instantly elevates the look.

What would you wear on a first date?

A dress, something classy, sophisticated, and showing just enough skin to make it sultry without being overtly sexy. I am very particular about what message I want to send on dates. But I never ever wear pants or jeans on a first date. Never, ever!!

Is your closet organised or an orderly mess?

It’s organised, though I am not super obsessive about it. My dresses and hanging garments are all colour coded.
