Giraffe survives an attack from a pride of lions in the Kruger National Park

This giraffe can teach all of us a thing or two about perseverance.
A video has gone viral on Twitter showing a giraffe that managed to stand for five hours even when facing an attack from a pride of lions.
This took place in the Kruger National Park.
In the video, which was shot by tourist Naveed Trumboo, a pride of lions can be seen attacking a giraffe by climbing on its back and pulling its legs.
The giraffe tried, by all means, to get rid of the lions on its back and legs, but the lions kept on attacking it.
This went on for a couple of hours.
According to Trumboo, the pride of lions eventually gave up after seeing the giraffe standing for five hours and refusing to give in.
Trumboo said the giraffe has an important message for all of us - keep standing no matter the attack.
"A Lesson on Persistence. There will be many who will try to pull you down. But when the going gets tough, the tough gets going. Here a giraffe managed to keep standing for 5 long hours after being attacked. Eventually, the pride of lions had to give up," he wrote on Twitter.
