Grandma emotional after she receives the cutest surprise
A grandma who had recently lost a pet she had for many years was overwhelmed when she was surprised with a cute new companion.
Shirley Lann has been devastated ever since she lost her dog one month ago. Lann had shared the pet for 14 years; she and her husband had cared for the pup together. Pets have a special way of burrowing into your heart and staying there, so it is understandable that Lann would still be experiencing raw emotions in the wake of the animal's passing.
Knowing that the matriarch was going through a tough time, Lann's children searched a local shelter for the perfect new furry friend.

Lann is speechless and immediately tears up as she realises the incredible gift she is receiving. She takes the dog and holds him tightly to her chest, clearly overwhelmed and no doubt determined to never let the pup go.
The moment of pure joy inspired similar joy in others.
