The weirdest celebrity baby names

We take a look at some of the most, shall we say, “interesting” celebrity baby names out there.

Baby Names

It seems the word ‘normal’ doesn’t apply to the stars of Hollywood. While the rest of us mere mortals settle for simple, modest baby names, the stars of Tinseltown show off their creativity and darn right ridiculousness when it's time to name their bundle of joy.

Names like Emma and James just aren’t good enough for our stars. No, they get hit by waves of inspiration that motivate them to give their children strange names like Blue Ivy and Apple.

Below we list some our favourite baby names from Hollywood stars. Brace yourselves, it’s going to get a bit weird.

Jermajesty Jackson, son of Jermaine Jackson

Jermaine + Majesty = Jermajesty. Mind blown!

Prince Michael II aka Blanket, son of Michael Jackson

Another Jackson makes it onto our list. This time, the late great Michael Jackson. We don't have a problem with Prince Michael II's actual name. It's the nickname his dad give him that bothers us. Blanket.

Apple, daughter of Gweneth Paltrow and Chris Martin

What would you name your daughter if you wanted to keep the doctor away?

Kal-El Cage, son of Nicholas Cage (and maybe Jor-El)

Nicolas Cage is a huge fan of comic books. Heck, the guy changed his last name to “Cage” in honour of superhero Luke Cage. So it’s only natural that he names his son Kal-El. Right?

Tu Morrow (daughter of Rob Morrow)

This name is just plain ridiculous!

Sage Moonblood Stallone, son of Sylvester Stallone

If you played Rocky and Rambo, then you’ll want to give your son a strong, manly name. Like Moonblood.

Poppy Honey, Daisy Boo and Petal Blossom Rainbow, daughters of Jamie Oliver

Along with being an amazing chef, turns out Jamie Oliver is a gardening enthusiast too.

Satchel Lee, daughter of Spike Lee

Babies are so adorable that you just want to put them in a satchel and carry them with you everywhere you go! American film director, Spike Lee, agrees.
