Ramaphosa tees off in aid of better sanitation at schools
President Cyril Ramaphosa says the youth should volunteer their time in helping underprivileged schools with sporting activities.
The President was on the golf course early Friday morning, where hosted the annual Presidential Golf Challenge at the Atlantic Beach Golf Estate in Cape Town.
The golf day takes place the morning after the State of the Nation Address and is a joint effort between the private sector and the state to partake in developmental initiatives that empower society.
Ramaphosa delivered his fourth state Sona in Cape Town on Thursday evening.

Ramaphosa says he wants young people to commit their time particularly to those in the rural areas and townships.
"Many of our schools, particularly, in the rural areas and townships want sports facilities, they don't even have sports as an activity that they get involved in.
"So we want young people who are going to be part of this youth service to go to schools and volunteer that they want to help young people with sports facilities".
The golf day also aims to raise between 9 and 10 million rand to be used for sanitation at schools.
