The venue boasts a challenging Mud Monster, interesting trails, fantastic bar, and a wide variety of food vendors. If you are joining us at Riversands Farm Village on 5 October 2019, here is everything you need to know.
What must you bring on the day?
- Activewear and shoes (Your Superman cape, war paint or whatever fun attire you want to wear).
- Towel and a change of clothes for afterwards (There is a locker zone available).
- Bring something warm to wear (There will be loads of water obstacles).
- SASeeding timing chip (wristband), if you have one.
- A brave and fun attitude.
What not to bring - No coolers, drinks or food will be allowed through the gate. There will be food vendors and a bar on the premises.
What time does the event start and finish?
06h30 - Gates and Registration open
07h20 - Black-Ops Elite race briefing (Please note: Each batch will be briefed before the start of their race)
07h30 - Black-Ops Elite race start
08h30 - Commando Elite race start
08h50 - Rookie Elite race start
09h00 - Black-Ops, Commando and Rookie Batches commence in 10min intervals. Reebok Sprint race opens
12h00 - Prizegiving
16h00 - Race cut-off. All participants still on course will be escorted back to the venue
17h00 - Close of race day
There will be security at the venue and in the parking area. There are lifeguards at all the water obstacles and marshals with radios at the obstacles. When entering the venue, please follow the parking signage into the venue. There will be a bar at the venue, as well as food stalls, coffee stations, and restaurants.
